Headspace Media is a digital marketing and video production agency located in the old Mellon Bank building in downtown Latrobe. We realize most entrepreneurs don’t start a business to focus on advertising. They start it to realize a dream of serving their community and making a better future for their family and customers. That’s why our goal as an advertising agency is to take the burden of digital marketing off of business owners so they can focus on what they do best.
Headspace Media (https://headspace.media) was officially started in January of 2020 by EMMY® Award winning filmmaker, Matthew Fridg. Matthew graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors’s in Communications Media and received a Masters’s from Liberty University in Pastoral Counseling. He grew up in Indiana, PA but started his career when he moved to Pittsburgh in 2006. After working on several Hollywood films that were produced in Pittsburgh, he worked for two award-winning video production companies, at one point running the entire production department. Matthew’s work with regional and national brands and major advertising agencies revealed a gap in how agencies served their clients. It became clear that when companies invested in video, they rarely knew how to capitalize on it to make that video content drive sales. So, Matthew wanted to start an agency that would create high-quality marketing and ads and run those ads on social media and through digital channels to actually drive results for clients. So, Headspace Media was born to do that and more.
The Headspace Media team has grown to include Whitney Rusiewicz as account/project manager as well as several partners who specialize in brand development, web design and digital advertising. Headspace Media was started in the Latrobe Business Incubator run by Jared Trunzo and the Latrobe Revitalization Organization. Headspace Media joined the Greater Latrobe Laurel Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2020 and Matthew quickly became part of the Marketing Committee. Headspace Media has provided technical support and marketing/video support for several chamber initiatives and is also part of the Mister Rogers Family Days committee. We love helping our local community grow and be successful. We enjoy the well-run chamber events that allow us to meet community members, learn more about their business, and be a resource to them when needed. Being a chamber member means being part of a group of people who have a single mind toward growing the Latrobe area so it can be an even more prosperous community and a place where people love to live and work. With the opportunities that come from thriving small businesses, favorable government policies and an area that attracts a strong labor force, our community will certainly flourish. Being a chamber member means being part of making that happen right here.
